Ms. Bass's expertise encompasses compliance requirements of health and welfare plans, such as fully-insured and self-insured group health plans, cafeteria plans and other fringe benefits. This includes compliance with COBRA, HIPAA, PPACA, and other federal mandates. Ms. Bass advises employers on their ERISA reporting, disclosure, and fiduciary responsibilities, and is highly experienced in retirement plan compliance and corrections under IRS and DOL compliance programs.
